What is meant by Abram words, “For they are dumb forms and misleading the heart”?

by dumb forms, he meant powerless. When something is dumb it does not speak, which could mean in general does not have value, does not convey, does not impart any value. I agree, I believe in God, and I think God is the only thing that should be worshiped.
